Principles for Mans Journey Back to Eden Excerpt: It is true that, faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17) And it also shows that, somebody must speak for you to hear that is after you must have paid close attention to the one talking. Again, what you hear can either build your faith in the one speaking or it will cause you to loose faith in God if the one talking is not pointing you to Him.
Therefore, we can see that, the fall of Adam and Eve is directly connected to the voice of the serpent that came and spoke to them. Now understand this, in listening to the voice of the ser-pent, they trusted in what the serpent said and so they ended up having a different belief system and distrusting God. By implication, the serpent became their god or master instead of God who placed them in the garden with a dominion.

Which testified to the fact that he was ac-tually the god of this world? But how did the devil become a possessor of the world that he was promising Jesus? By implication, he was simply promising Jesus what was his own by right as a son of God, who owns the heaven and earth. Oh! This is what Adam did not understand or failed to realise, that all dominion was already his, as long as he keeps listening and walking by and with the voice of the Lord- God, that comes regularly to him in the cool of the evening (Genesis 3:8) which, by the way, is the time of the evening sacrifice.
